WHAT TO EXPECT

I encourage all Newborn sessions to be done in the studio as I am able to properly adjust the light and the surroundings to achieve the best possible photographs. You will also have access to my full assortment of props as opposed to what I can provide on location. Siblings are always welcome! This session should take place within the first ten days of life. Shooting time average: 2-3 hours.

Late naps and limiting your child's activities the day of our session is recommended.  I work quickly to avoid breakdowns and loss of interest. Go with flow and have fun! Shooting time average: 1 hour.

All outdoor shoots are scheduled at sunrise or 1 hour before sunset. Again, this is to achieve the best possible natural light conditions for bright, beautiful photographs.  Outdoor shoots may be rescheduled due to weather.

Studio sessions are booked in the early mornings at your convenience. Studio sessions can range from 1-3 hours, depending on the shoot.

WHAT TO WEAR

Variety is encouraged! Complimentary colors and themes are always good but try to avoid sticking to one color. Make sure to stay away from any visible logos or graphics.  We want your photos to be timeless and enduring for years to come.

Accessories. Accessories. Accessories! Hair bows, headbands and hats are all encouraged, as are simple layers that can come off easily like cardigans, jackets, scarves or vests. The idea is to start layered and take off pieces for a different look. Or if you prefer, you can stay with your favorite look and focus on your accessories!

Your pictures are an investment! By putting in some extra energy into your outfits and it will really pay off for you in your photos.
